Overview

See windmills and the Dutch countryside in a way the locals do: by bike. You will be picked up from your hotel in Amsterdam and a local guide will accompany you to show you all the highlights. During this tour, you will also visit Zaanse Schans, an unique village full of windmills, green wooded houses and traditional crafts. You will visit a wooden shoe workshop for a live demonstration of clog making. You will also visit a cheese farm to learn about cheese and to taste some of them. Your private guide will also take you to an operational industrial windmill. By bike you will explore the area even more. You will pass cute villages and neighbourhoods like Wormer, Jisp, Bartelsluis and Haaldersbroek. Along the way, you will see many farms with cows, sheep and horses. This bike tour involves 2 hours of cycling (22 km) You can also choose for a shorter route of 8,5km, 10,8km or 12,8km.
