Zeedijk
Running between Prins Hendrikkade and Nieuwmarkt, Zeedijk is a street in Chinatown in Amsterdam and boasts of many small restaurants, eateries, bars and lounges. Zeedijk is also one of the oldest and liveliest streets in the city. Singel is a canal ring that encircled the city of Amsterdam in the medieval ages. It consists of a network of canals that were symbolic of Amsterdam for a very long time, until Amsterdam expanded beyond the Singel in 1585. The Red Light District is a part of town with a long history, where the legal profession of prostitution is practiced. The heart of the district are the canals, which are lined by tall narrow houses called "bruggen" (bridges ), filled with small rooms, where women sit. The district is known for its red lights, and a number of brothels.The Red Light District consists of seven streets: Brouwersgracht, Herengracht, Keizersgracht, Prinsengracht, Singel canal, Spuistraat and Westerstraat.

Her diary was discovered after her death and published on June 18th, 1947 by her father Otto Frank. The Anne Frank House is a museum dedicated to preserving the memory of Anne Frank and displaying artifacts from her life .
