Giethoorn
There are many Dutch towns, cities and villages that merit a visit, but one of them is certainly Giethoorn. Often referred to as the ‘Little Venice’of the Netherlands, only accessible by boat and with an absence of roads and cars. This picturesque village located in the north of the country consists of islands that are connected by approximately 180 bridges. It’s beautiful canals, picturesque wooden bridges and farmhouses with centuries-old thatched roofs will give you a unique fairy-tale vibe.
