Overview

Amsterdam has some of the best craft breweries in the world! These remarkable, independent producers have been creating amazing beers for decades. Join us on a taste- adventure on wheels and find out just how seriously Amsterdammers take their beer. And their bicycles.
Our craft beer tour will begin at a bike rental near Central Station, where we will receive our bikes and instructions/ regulations on how to ride in Amsterdam. We will visit 4 breweries, with 1 beer/person included in each place, ending at the bike rental, where we started. The tour is an excellent way to get to know the vibrant centre and the outskirts of it, where one can get away from the crowds and immerse deeper into the local vibe and culture.
Besides brewing, beers and sightseeing, we will share with you the history of our city, interesting stories and insights to the local life of Amsterdam. We'll as well provide you with lots of tips on what to do for the rest of your stay.

IJ
The IJ is a pretty odd river. For one thing, its name is a single letter in Dutch, which is why IJ is fully capitalized. Is also not a real river. It’s a former bay which changed in shape, thanks to the Dutch national hobby of reclaiming land. Technically, it’s a long lake, which connects a canal to another lake, which itself was formerly a sea.
