What To Expect

The Jordaan
On this Secret Food Walking Tour you'll discover the best local Dutch food the Amsterdam's Jordaan neighborhood has to offer. The Jordaan is Amsterdam's Greenwich Village, with its narrow alleys, leafy canals lined with 17th-century houses, quirky specialty shops, cafes and designer boutiques.

You'll get to taste traditional homemade pancakes called "Poffertjes." Next, you'll sample some of the best Dutch cheeses.
You'll visit a local fishmonger and dine on herring and traditional kibbeling, battered chunks of fish. You'll taste Stamppot, a local favorite. And at the end there will be a delicious Secret Dish.
